Some Tips to Building your PG

Smaller is a bit better than taller, shorter wingspan is also better in most cases: Going with a lower height and wingspan will allow you to get a better ball handling, speed, and three point rating.

The benefits of going with a taller point guard are largely overrated, at least for online play, and smaller PG’s (6′-6’3″) have been dominating the game since day 1.

Focus on reaching certain attribute levels: On Next-Gen, you will need certain attribute levels to unlock certain badges. For example, HOF Sniper needs 80 Three Point to unlock.

Building your player around these requirements, which can be found here, is important to get the important badges point guards need.
